Necropsy Workshop

Necropsy Wet Lab

You will become familiar with basic mouse and rat anatomy, proper collection of target tissues for diagnostic tests, introduction to common rodent parasites, and introduction to common rodent gross lesions.  The lab will also cover the technique to complete a thorough gross necropsy and how to effectively describe any lesions found.  Finally everyone will have the opportunity to perform a complete necropsy on a fresh mouse carcass.

This wet lab is free to meeting attendees!  Registration is on a first come, first serve basis.  Space is limited.
